If you live in Arizona, then you are well aware of the severity of our monsoons. With winds in excess of 65mph, it's not uncommon to suffer some property damage. Therefore, we're offering the following tips on how to care for you umbrellas to avoid damage during monsoons and storms:- Close your umbrella in windy conditions or when a storm approaches.
- Tie down the umbrella to the upright pole and use a protective cover for all cantilever umbrellas.
- Remove and store an umbrella when not in use that is used with a dining table. Store in a safe place (ex: garage or shed).
- Never allow the umbrella to flap in the wind. This could cause damage to the canopy.
- Do not leave an open umbrella unattended. If damage occurs, this is not covered by the warranty.
- When adjusting the umbrella, make sure that no person(s) or item(s) are close to the umbrella. This is important to prevent injury or material damage.
